About Little Britches
Little Britches started in March of 2003 out of the dream of its founders, two local moms, Lisa and Sarah. They wanted to provide a sale that would not only allow local parents to shop for their kids without the guilt of paying retail, but also allow local families to recoup some of the cost put into the purchase of items their kids needed. The first sale hosted 50 consignors at what used to be the Wildcat Creek Sports Complex banquet room. The sale then moved to Crestview Chistian Church for the following 9 sales until the space was outgrown, and in 2008, it was moved to the Kansas National Guard Armory. Currently Little Britches hosts hundreds of consignors and over 20,000 items at each sale!

In 2018, Sarah and Lisa sold the business to Manhattan residents Brandy and Shaun (more about us below!) who currently own and operate the sale. We take a lot of pride in having a business that directly benefits families in the area who can make money selling their gently used items and purchase items for their families at a fraction of retail. We also love the environmental impact of being a part of keeping items with love left to give out of landfills and helping bargain shoppers use less gas by purchasing what they need in one location. This is our home and our community, and running an event that has an impact on our neighbors is a true privilege.

The sale simply could not happen without the incredible volunteers, consignors, and shoppers who show up for each sale. Whether its a long time volunteer who knows the sale well, a seller who works hard to bring great items to each sale, or a new parent shopping for their growing family, every person who chooses to make themselves a part of the sale is allowing it to continue to serve the Manhattan area for many years to come!
